Paris

Paris, also known as the City of Light, is the most popular city-destination of the world. Paris is the second largest city in Western Europe and possibly the city with the most attractions. In Paris there are some of the world’s most famous attractions, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Champs-Elysées, the Panthéon and Notre-Dame, which are a must visit. But make sure to spend at least a day to walk the city as this is the only way to discover the real Paris, a lively cosmopolitan metropolis. It is considered the world’s capital of fashion and the city with the best food, as it has the most Michelin stars in the entire western world. The center of Paris is divided into 20 apartments in a kind of coil with the first compartment being in the middle and the highest figures outside the circle.

1

1st Day

Athens – Paris – City Tour

Meeting at the airport and flight to the French capital, Paris. Arrival and after receiving the luggage we will meet the leader of the tour. Transfer to the city center for our panoramic tour of its most beautiful sights. Our first stop is Trocadero (stop 20–30 minutes) where we will have the opportunity to photograph the absolute star of the city, the Eiffel Tower, the most recognizable monument in the world. We continue with the largest triumphal arch in the world, the Arc de Triomphe, the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées but also a avenue of pride for the French Republic, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais, art exhibition spaces of unique architectural continuity is the most impressive bridge of Alexander III, the imposing Hotel des Invalides, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Parliament (National Assembly). We continue with the Place de la Concorde (Unity square), the old royal garden now known as the Tuileries Gardens, the Orsay museum, the aristocratic Place Vendome and the famous Ritz hotel, the impressive Garnier Opera, the Louvre museum and Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in the city. We will cross the island of Cite, the historic center that is, since the city was actually born there, to approach – the most famous Cathedral in the world, Notre-Dame de Paris, which we will see from the outside due to the great damage its roof suffered. Moving forward we will see the neighborhood of Laten Cartier, the historic Sorbonne University and the gardens of Luxembourg – an oasis of mental and physical uplift with beautiful fountains and statues and also the eponymous palace of Marie De Medici (where we will have a stop of about 20 minutes) . Next is the Pantheon, a necropolis of important personalities of the country such as Victor Hugo, the artistic district of Saint Germain with the famous cafe Les Deux magots and café de Flore, the Saint-Sulpice square and the School of Fine Arts. Transfer and accommodation at our hotel located really in the heart of the city. Time to relax and after come with us to make the first acquaintance with the city by following us optionally on the evening cruise on the Seine with the famous bateau mouche for a taste of the illuminated Paris at night as well as a visit to the picturesque Montmartre hill with the unique Sacré-Cœur and the outdoor painters.

2nd Day

Paris – Louvre – Palais Royal – Place Vendome – Fragonard Perfume Museum

Breakfast and departure for the most famous museum in the world, the Louvre. It is no coincidence that they call it the «World Temple of Art». With our official Greek-speaking guide we will wander the magical spaces of this old palace and admire its treasures. We will follow her on a journey of exploration, on a journey through time and human creation. Of course a big stop of this visit will be the Greek wing, a pillar of the museum, with its two Greek stars, the Victory of Samothrace and Venus of Milos, but also the part of the frieze of Parthenon with the Ergastines and the fronts from the sanctuary of ancient Olympia. We continue to the neighboring wing with the Mona Lisa, and other works of art that are milestones in the evolution of the Italian Renaissance. We will also focus on the masterpieces of French painting by 18th and 19th century painters that «illuminate» the museum's large galleries. After the end of our tour we will take a unique walk in the square of Palais Royal and we will have our coffee in the famous cafe Le Nemours where scenes from the movie «The Tourist» were filmed with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, but mainly the café where the world of theater and fashion meets. We will cross the famous Faubourg Saint Honore with all its big fashion houses, we will pass the famous Place Vendome with the leading watchmaking and jewelry houses and the emblematic Ritz hotel and after taking the necessary photos, we will continue our walk to the elegant Place Edouard VII that will surely impress us with its elaborate construction. Next follows an «aromatic» trip, accompanied by a historical background, to the leading perfume museum of Fragonard. Free time, optional lunch in one of the beautiful bistros in the area and return to the hotel by yourself. In the evening take a stroll in the Champs Elysees, with its beautiful cafés, picturesque bistros and restaurants and luxury shops.

3rd Day

Paris – Versailles – Christmas Markets

Breakfast and departure for the Palace of Versailles and the Royal Gardens. Enjoy the tour with the official Greek-speaking tour guide in its unique rooms, traveling through time and learning about its history. 2.300 rooms, more than 10.000 works of art and a total area of ​​825 hectares make the Palace of Versailles with its famous gardens a unique historical monument of world political heritage and one of the most impressive palaces in the world. Back in Paris and the best way to feel the Christmas spirit is to visit the city's Christmas Markets. Choose between La magie de Noel which takes place in the Tuileries Garden – from Place de la Concord to Rue des Pyramides or the Hotel de Ville Christmas Market set up in front of the neo-Renaissance building that houses the Town Hall. Copy the Parisians and drink mulled wine, eat roasted chestnuts, sausages, cheese and chocolates and shop for gifts and handicrafts. Paris – Disneyland

Breakfast and departure for Europe's largest theme park, Disneyland Paris. It is located 32 km from Paris and consists of two parks, Disneyland Theme Park and Walt Disney Studios and a shopping area, Disney Village. The theme parks are known for the Robotic – Animated characters that exist in the area, their attention to detail and their mentality to service the visitors. The goal is to completely recreate the magic associated with Disney's fame and name. Your Leader will make suggestions in order to better organize your time between the world of Pirates, Fantasy, exploration and a space trip with the heroes of Star Wars. Live in the era of Far West with its riverboats and gorges, visit the Pirate island with its hidden treasures and mythical bazaars, the magical world of Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio and Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Travel to Visionarium with Jules Verne and take a risk trip between meteorites and spaceships on the Star Tour. Visit the studios of Metro Golden Meyer and live the unique experience of shooting a film in a backup role. Return to Paris with a wealth of impressions.

5th Day

Paris – Normandy (optional)

Breakfast and free day. We suggest an optional getaway on the northwest coast, in beautiful Normandy, a part of the French hinterland that is a real revelation for the visitor. We will start with our first destination Deauville, a city lazily on the Atlantic coast, and continue with the medieval village of Honfleur where on the way we will see Trouville and enjoy the green nature of Normandy. Alternatively, spend your day in the French capital and make the most of it as you see fit. Take advantage of the ideal location of your hotel and do your shopping in the famous Gallerries Lafayette and Printemps department stores. Take your coffee from the Café de la Paix and walk around the Opera Garnier and Capucines Avenue. For chocolate lovers we recommend exploring the Musee du Chocolat which is located in the same area of ​​the great boulevards. Alternatively we suggest a visit to the Place de la Bastille where the New Opera dominates, the Place de la Vosges and the house of Victor Hugo and certainly in the most funky area of Paris the Marais, with the most sought after boutiques (all the big houses are here), with the Carnavalet city history museum but also the Pompidou museum of modern art. At the end of the walk you can continue with a stroll on the elegant and shopping street Rivoli and enjoy the famous Mont Blanc of Cafe Angelina which is a top address in the city since 1903.

6th Day

Paris – Athens

Breakfast and free time. Boarding the bus, transfer to the airport and return flight to Athens.
