Life experience is undoubtedly a cruise on the Nile, with its main stations Luxor-Karnak, Valley of Kings-Valley of Queens, Edfu-Esna-Kom Ombo, Aswan-Abu, Sibel-Botanical Garden. The areas that have been developed on the shores of the Red Sea offer perhaps the best diving centers in the world. Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh are among the most popular resorts in the Red Sea and have the largest tourist development. The best time to visit Egypt is the spring, so the temperatures are softer and the waters are ideal for diving, water sports and swimming.

1st Day
Athens – Cairo
Meeting at the airport and flight to Egypt, the cradle of a great civilization that shaped the course of mankind. Arrival in bustling Cairo, with its millions of inhabitants. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

2nd Day
Cairo – Alexandria – Cairo
After our breakfast, we depart by road for Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt, on a journey of approximately three hours by air-conditioned vehicle. Stretching for about 20 kilometers along the Mediterranean coast, Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great in 332 BC by Alexander the Great, developing into one of the most important intellectual and commercial centers of antiquity, capable of rivaling even Rome, before its decline began in the 4th century AD. In the 19th century, Muhammad Ali revitalized the port by connecting it to the Nile, a move that attracted thousands of Europeans and fostered the cosmopolitan yet melancholic atmosphere immortalized in the works of Constantine Cavafy. This era came to an end in the 1950s, following Gamal Abdel Nasser’s revolution, when the majority of the foreign population left the city. The tour of Alexandria reveals its glorious historical journey and includes the modern Library of Alexandria, a symbol of the continuity of the legendary ancient library, the Patriarchate, the House of Cavafy and the impressive Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, a unique monument of synthesis of Egyptian, Hellenistic and Roman art. The historical tour continues at the Greco-Roman Museum, while we will admire the panoramic view of the city's harbor with the imposing Acropolis of Sultan Qaitbey, built in the 15th century at the site where the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood. Lunch at a traditional restaurant follows, after which we return to Cairo for the overnight stay, concluding a day dedicated to Alexandria’s unique historical heritage. (meals: breakfast, meal).

3rd Day
Cairo – Saqqara – Necropolis – Unas Pyramid – Giza Pyramids – Sphinx
After breakfast, our tour of the Saqqara necropolis begins with the first stepped pyramid of Djoser, a pyramid of astonishing beauty, and the Necropolis, whose excavations are still open and bring to light new archaeological findings every day, as well as the Imhotep Museum, with unique objects collected from the sites and tombs discovered in Saqqara and representing many dynasties. The most important is the mummy of King Merenre, which is the oldest royal mummy in history and dates back to the 6th dynasty, almost 2,300 years BC. The Imhotep Museum is considered one of Egypt's most important archaeological museums. Lunch at a traditional Cairo restaurant follows. Our tour of Cairo continues with visits to the Pyramid of Unas, which was built by Pharaoh Unas, the ninth and last of the Fifth Dynasty in the mid-24th century BC. We continue our tour with the Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the world, as well as the enormous and enigmatic Sphinx. Return to the hotel and overnight stay. (meals: breakfast, meal).

4th Day
Cairo – New GEM Museum
Today is dedicated to the world's largest museum. After breakfast, we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a highly anticipated project. The Grand Egyptian Museum promises to be a world-class institution and a significant cultural landmark. It is set to house over 100,000 artifacts, including many from the tomb of Tutankhamun that have never before been displayed to the public. The GEM aims to offer a comprehensive narrative of Egyptian history, spanning from prehistoric times to the modern era. We will pause for lunch inside the museum before continuing our tour. Following the tour, we will transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay. (meals: breakfast, meal).

5th Day
Cairo – Saladin Citadel – Museum of Egyptian Civilization – Khan El-Khalili Bazaar
After breakfast, we depart for the Citadel of Cairo. Built by Saladin in 1176 to defend the city against the Crusaders, the Citadel served as the seat of the Egyptian government for nearly 700 years, right up to the era of Muhammad Ali. Within the Citadel complex stands the impressive Mosque of Muhammad Ali, constructed in the 19th century. The fortress also encompasses museums, palaces, and ancient walls, standing as a significant historical and architectural symbol of Cairo's Islamic era. Next, we visit the Museum of Civilization, which houses exhibits spanning every period of Egyptian history. A highlight is the Royal Mummies Hall, where the mummies of 22 Pharaohs are displayed. The museum showcases the evolution of Egyptian civilization from prehistory to the present day, serving as a major cultural hub for Egypt and a magnet for visitors from around the globe. Lunch at a local restaurant follows. Next, we will visit the famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar, one of the oldest and most vibrant commercial hubs in the Middle East, with a history dating back to the 14th century. Its narrow alleyways reveal the authentic atmosphere of Cairo, filled with aromas, colors, and traditional workshops. Immediately after the tour, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel for the night. (meals: breakfast, meal).

6th Day
Luxor – Nile Cruise
After breakfast, departure for our tour of the east bank with the famous temples of Luxor, built by Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II and dedicated to the god Amon Ra. We then proceed along the Avenue of Sphinxes to Karnak to admire the temples of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. We will then move to the west bank, to ancient Thebes, the city of the dead. Return to the cruise ship with full-board service. Overnight stay. (meals: breakfast, meal, dinner).

7th Day
Nile Cruise
Breakfast and departure for the Valley of the Kings, where more than 60 tombs are located, the most important of which are those of Tutankhamun, Seti I, Ramses II, and Nefertiti. We continue with a visit to the three-story temple of Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaoh, and the Colossi of Memnon, the two enormous reclining statues. We then return to the cruise ship and sail towards Edfu. (breakfast, meal, dinner on our cruise ship).

8th Day
Nile Cruise – Aswan
Breakfast and the temple of the god Horus, which we will visit, the temple of the falcon of the sun, protector of the Pharaohs, is perhaps the best preserved in Egypt. Continuing our journey toward Nubia, the sandy banks with their tranquil monotony give way to the lush, terraced levels of cultivated land. The Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus the Elder (Haroeris), offers its own unique and unforgettable sights. We then continue our journey to Aswan. Overnight stay. (breakfast, meal, dinner on our cruise ship).

9th Day
Abu Simbel – Aswan
Early morning departure by road for a guided tour of the Abu Simbel temples. In 1968, the two rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Nefertari were cut into sections, reinforced, dismantled, and reassembled atop a hill in the Libyan Desert range, overlooking the Nile. At the southern temple of Ramses II, you can admire the four colossal statues of the powerful Pharaoh facing east. The king of Egypt, smiling on his throne, wears the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt, while at his feet stand his subjects, much younger princes and princesses, the queen mother and the royal consort Nefertari. In the temple of Nefertari, the same motif of the colossi of Ramses II is repeated, only here the colossi have been replaced by statues of the great royal wife Nefertari in the attire of Athor-Sothis and their children. Return to Aswan. In the afternoon, we will visit the small island of Philae to see the renowned Temple of Isis. The huge dam that regulates the flow of the Nile and the rides on the picturesque feluccas along the botanical garden with a view of the Aga Khan Mausoleum complete our impressions. Return to the cruise ship. Overnight stay. (breakfast, meal, dinner on our cruise ship).

Aswan – Cairo – Athens
Very early departure, transfer to Aswan Airport, and flight to Athens via Cairo.

- The 5-day departures do not include the cruise days, Luxor, Abu Simbel and Aswan.
- The program is indicative. The final trip program will be given to you three days before your departure.
- The order of the program is not binding. The guided tours can be carried out in a different order when the conditions require it without any omission of the above visits.
- In the case of a triple room in a 5* hotel, the accommodation takes place at the Pyramisa Hotel as Marriott does not accept triple rooms.
- To travel you must have a new type passport & valid for at least 6 months from the date of your trip.
- A visa is required for travel to Egypt. For this reason, please send us a photocopy of your passport at least 15 days before your departure. In addition, your passport should have a blank page.
