Since Germany was established as a national state in 1871 the capital of the country, Berlin has always reflected history, negative and positive. The periods of prosperity and decline have made Berlin a city of great change. The largest part of the city was destroyed after the Second World War but several monuments have been saved and repaired. After the fall of the wall, historic sites such as Potsdamer Platz and Parizer Platz were completely renovated. Nowadays Berlin is once again one of the most important and largest European cities. 1st Day
Athens – Berlin (guided tour)
Meeting at the airport and flight to Berlin with Aegean Airlines. Arrival and tour of the German capital, during which we will see the Brandenburg Gate (design based on the Propylaea of the Acropolis of Athens), the Parliament (Reichstag), the Victory Column, the City Hall, parts of the former Berlin Wall , the Opera etc. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Overnight stay.2
2nd Day
Berlin – Sanssouci Palace – Potsdam
This morning we will depart for the historic Potsdam and the famous Sanssouci Palace. In a magnificent setting of lakes and majestic gardens, are the palaces of Frederick II, which were intended to compete with Versailles. Free time and return to Berlin. Overnight stay.3
3rd Day
Berlin – Dresden – Leipzig – Berlin
Morning departure for our day trip to Dresden and Leipzig. We first visit the historic capital of Saxony, Dresden, located on the banks of the river Elbe. Majestic buildings of baroque architecture reveal the glamor of the past. Next we will depart for Leipzig, “the little Paris” of Saxony, as Goethe called it, the active city of the arts, the dynamic metropolis of books, exhibitions and universities. Return to Berlin. Overnight stay.4
4th Day
Berlin (free day) – Athens
Breakfast and free day for walks in this beautiful city, for visits to various attractions and to its very interesting museums and galleries. Cross on foot the Under den Linden, the boulevard with the most beautiful baroque and neoclassical buildings of Berlin, and go up the Television Tower (365 meters) on Alexanderplatz, for a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Athens.Tour Location

Notes
- The above excursions, visits may take place in a different order, without omitting any of the listed.
- The optional excursions are organized under the responsibility of the collaborating local agent and their execution depends on the number of participants as well as the availability / price of the coaches.
- Triple rooms in all hotels are, in essence, double rooms with an extra bed. Usually they are not particularly comfortable and the extra bed can be smaller than the normal one or a sofa or a folding one.
- The family room at the Thistle Marble Arch hotels is a room with 1 double bed and a small sofa.
- The rooms are delivered by the hotel usually between 14:00 – 16:00 and are available to the occupants until 10:00 – 12:00 on the day of departure (depending on the policy of each hotel).
