Built on the estuary of the largest Iberian River, the Tagus, it has twenty centuries of history and a modern soul, combining the cosmopolitan vibrancy of a modern city with an old-fashioned aura. To experience it as it suits it, you must have a mood for walking uphill and downhill in the picturesque districts of Alfama and Mouraria, which have “begun” the melancholy fado, and in Bairro Alto, the heart of Lisbon, vibrant with life. Known for its shops and nightlife, the Bairro Alto is full of trendy restaurants and bars alternating on the same street as the traditional taverns, the tascas, where you will hear an original fado.

1st Day
Athens – Lisbon
Meeting at the airport and direct flight to Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, which is built on the seven hills of the Tagus River. Arrival at the birthplace of the fado with the narrow, picturesque alleys, the houses with the tiled roofs and the colorful tiled facades. Transfer, check in at the hotel and free time for a first acquaintance with the city. Walk up to Placa Rossio, where the heart of Lisbon hits hard, indulge in gastronomic delights and linger in the city's bustling rhythms.

2nd Day
Lisbon
Today's tour is dedicated to the picturesque and hospitable city, which still retains its Latin glorious character. One of the city's most renowned attractions is the Royal Caravan Museum, where we will admire a unique collection of luxury and wealth dating back to the 17th and 19th century. Our next station is the monastery of the Ieronimetes, the most impressive symbol of Portuguese power and wealth. Then we will visit the Monument of the Discoveries as well as the characteristic Belem Tower, built in 1515 near the banks of the Tagus River to protect the estuary of the river and designated by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, wander through the narrow cobblestone streets of the medieval neighborhood of Alphama to the Castle of St. George to enjoy a panoramic view of Lisbon. In the evening, we suggest you enjoy the traditional Portuguese fado songs that have been popularized around the world by renowned singer Amalia Rodrigues.

3rd Day
Lisbon
Breakfast in hotel and day free at your disposal. You can visit the Park of Nations that was formed in 1998 for the international exhibition EXPO and admire the longest bridge of Europe “Vasco da Gama”, 17 km long. We recommend an excursion to the great center of Catholicism, Fatima, the beautiful medieval village of artists, Obidos and the tourist fishing village of Nazareth. In the afternoon we return to Lisbon where you can enjoy your shopping in the city's major shopping centers.

4th Day
Lisbon – Sintra – Cascais – Estoril
After breakfast, we are leaving for a pleasant excursion on the outskirts of Lisbon. Our first stop is Sintra, the summer residence of the kings, a city that is abundant in natural beauty and is characterized by its historical and cultural heritage. Palatho Real dominates the top of a lush mountain. We then go through Cascais, a traditional fishing village alongside the capital, and Estoril, the all year resort, considered one of the most important tourist spots in the world, and offers a variety of activities including golf course, racing track and one of the largest casinos in Europe. Our last visit the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca. Return to the hotel at noon and free afternoon.

5th Day
Lisbon – Athens
Today is the last day in the capital of Portugal. Full of memories we fly back to Greece.
