Fort-de-France is the capital of exotic Martinique. On your cruise in Fort-de-France you will take a walk to the Jardin de Balata garden with its tropical vegetation. You will taste exotic fruits and you will go to the Saint Louis Fortress. You will dive into Plage De Mantana.

POINTE-À-PITRE

Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe, is a French-governed archipelago in the Caribbean. It's known for its lively markets, like the Marché de la Darse, where fishermen sell their catch from boats at the harbor. Cafes and colonial homes cluster around Place de la Victoire. The Saint-John Perse Museum features 19th-century interiors and exhibits of the poet Alexis Léger.

CASTRIES

The city of Castries is Saint Lucia's capital. Sightseers admire murals painted by a local artist inside Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and relax in Derek Walcott Square, named for the Saint Lucian Nobel-prize-winning poet. Atop Morne Fortune (Hill of Good Luck) - where the French and English battled over control of the island - visitors take in panoramic vistas.

BRIDGETOWN

Shopping is plentiful in Bridgetown. The capital of Barbados offers duty-free shopping at cruise ship terminals and upscale boutiques on Broad Street. Additional activities include yachting, fishing, viewing cricket matches and the nightlife on Baxter's Road. For history, visit the Barbados Museum, National Heroes Square (formerly Trafalgar Square) and the oldest Jewish synagogue in the western hemisphere, as well as the house where George Washington stayed and the church he attended.

PORT OF SPAIN

Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago, has the tall buildings, neon lights and crowded streets of many cities, but also a multicultural Caribbean character and a homegrown calypso soundtrack. The best-known occasion is the flamboyant pre-Lenten Carnival. Among the city's other offerings are cricket and football matches, year-round festivals, a botanic garden, malls, an art and history museum and historic buildings. Entertainment options abound.

SAINT GEORGE

Saint George, capital of Grenada, is an island in the eastern Caribbean Sea. Notable landmarks include the Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Presbyterian churches on the central ridge, Fort George at the promontory’s tip and Government House on a slope overlooking the town. Carenage, the inner harbour, and Grand Etang Lake, located in the island’s centre, both occupy volcanic calderas.

KINGSTOWN

Kingstown, the capital of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is a major port city for the Caribbean island chain. The city features a series of surviving 19th century buildings, including St George's Cathedral, known for its beautiful stained glass, and the Romanesque Cathedral of the Assumption. In the wharf area, visitors can see structures built from the tile and red brick that was used as ballast on trading ships from Britain, or head up to Fort Charlotte for a stunning view of the city.
