Copenhagen has colors and sensations that refer to a fairy-tale world and at the same time a vibrant metropolis of modern architecture and design. The capital of Denmark is a fascinating experience for every traveler with its palaces, castles, but also modern buildings and bridges – marvels of modern engineering. Its cafes and restaurants are full of people all year round, while the canals and squares are bustling with life. A spotlessly clean, user-friendly city, with a public transport system that gives new meaning to the word “consistency”, it is no wonder that in recent years it has been declared one of the cities with a high standard of living. Get on a bike and head from Radhuspladsen (City Hall Square) to the city’s most historic pedestrian street, Stroget, with its shops, cafes and street artists. Another alternative is to book a boat tour, crossing the canals of Christianshavn, where the old warehouses have been adapted to the needs of today. Here, the Vor Frelsers Kirke (Church of Our Savior), an elegant 17th century Baroque church, dominates. If you climb its 400 steps, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view. By boat, you will also reach Copenhagen’s trademark, the bronze statue of Lille Havfrue (Little Mermaid), more easily, as well as Gammel Strand (the old fish market) with its 18th and 19th century houses, restaurants and cafes. You will also be impressed by the Nyhavn harbor with its colorful houses, reminiscent of Amsterdam, while you will then take a leisurely stroll through the hippie suburb of Christiania. You will also be delighted by the Operaen (Opera) building at the harbor, which was built by Henning Larsen in 2005, while the shops in Norrebro (a lively and multicultural area) and Vesterbro will be unforgettable.

1st Day
Athens – Copenhagen (city tour) – Canal Cruise – Tivoli
Meeting at the airport and direct flight with Aegean Airlines to the elegant capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. Upon our arrival, our first acquaintance with the city begins, starting from the harbor dominated by the Little Mermaid, the most recognizable symbol of the country, inspired by the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. We continue to the imposing City Hall and the square of the same name, one of the liveliest places in the city. Next is the elegant Amalienborg Palace, residence of the royal family, and the impressive Opera House, an architectural gem that combines modern aesthetics with respect for the historical identity of the city. We will also see the statue of King Frederick V, as well as the house where the great storyteller Andersen lived, who left an indelible mark on literature. Our tour concludes in the picturesque Nyhavn, with its colorful houses, cafes and restaurants by the water — one of the most photogenic spots in the city. From there, we board a boat for a cruise on the canals of Copenhagen, where we will enjoy the unique coexistence of traditional and modern buildings, passing by historic churches, bridges and elegant architectural ensembles that make up the character of the city. After the end of the tour, we are transferred to our hotel to settle in and rest. In the afternoon, together with our leader, we will visit Tivoli, the second oldest amusement park in the world (entrance fee included). A magical place with gardens, lakes, lighting and an atmosphere reminiscent of an old fairy tale. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

2nd Day
Copenhagen (historic center)
Today you will walk with our guide through the historic center of Copenhagen, starting from the famous pedestrian street Stroget, one of the largest in Europe, full of shops, cafes and a lively Scandinavian atmosphere. During the walking tour you will get to know some of the most characteristic places of the city, such as the City Hall Square and the impressive Copenhagen City Hall, the historic area Gammel Strand, the island of power with Christiansborg, the central square Amagertorv with the Stork Fountain, the Round Tower (Rundetårn) (exterior) and the old university campus with its narrow streets and historic buildings. After the tour there will be free time for lunch, coffee or shopping in the city center. Afternoon free. Overnight stay.

3rd Day
Copenhagen – Excursion to Palaces & Castles
Morning departure from Copenhagen for an exciting excursion to the area around the Danish Riviera. A coastal route that offers amazing views and captivating landscapes of the northern part of Denmark. Our first stop will be the historic Kronborg Castle, which is located near the city of Helsingør and is approximately 45 kilometers from Copenhagen. The castle, built in the 15th century, retains its authenticity and is an excellent example of architecture of the time. Kronborg became world famous thanks to Shakespeare's play, «Hamlet», as it was the setting for the plot of the famous play. We will explore the area around the castle (externally) and enjoy the atmosphere that has been preserved unchanged for centuries. Next, we will visit the Renaissance Frederiksborg Palace, which is considered the largest and most impressive palace in Scandinavia. The palace houses the National Museum of Denmark, offering visitors the opportunity to learn more about the history of Denmark through exhibits covering various eras and cultures. A walk through the gardens and the impressive palace building will leave you speechless with its architecture and the atmosphere of the place. Return to Copenhagen. Overnight stay.

4th Day
Copenhagen – Excursion to Odense
Breakfast and departure for our excursion to one of the most charming cities in Denmark, Odense, which carries a special atmosphere and seems to have come out of a fairy tale. It is no coincidence that Hans Christian Andersen was born here, the great storyteller who gave the world the "Little Mermaid", the "Ugly Duckling" and so many other stories. The city still keeps this magical spirit alive, with colorful houses, cobblestone alleys, small cafes and calm canals that make you want to walk without a schedule. The historic center of Odense is ideal for a leisurely stroll. There you will find the house where Andersen was born, beautiful museums, gardens and a very friendly Scandinavian atmosphere. Although it is the third largest city in Denmark, it maintains a calm and human character, very different from the more intense rhythm of Copenhagen. Free time and return to Copenhagen. Overnight stay.
